张益唐(1955-) 的才华, 除了数学, 诗词音乐的根底深厚。
这样的数学奇才, 比华罗庚, 陈景润更高一筹, 扬名国际。他早年毕业于北京大学, 到美国Purdue随博士导师 台籍教授 TT Moh。毕业后20年竟然不能在学术界立足, 落魄到卖sandwich过日子, 朋友冷眼冷语, 看不起他。
现在”十年寒窗无人问, 一舉成名天下知”, Princeton高聘, 北大欢迎旧校友, 久不来往的”朋友”突然蜂拥而出… 真是人间温暖, 箇中滋味, 张益唐感慨不已, 引同是落魄的杜甫的诗, 借五代庾信的遭遇, 以古喻今:
